Inspired by NASA’s moon photography, I recreated the lunar phases focusing on accuracy and realism. Using Blender and NASA’s CGI Moon Kit, I incorporated real-world data such as the Moon’s distance from the Sun, rotation speeds, and axial tilts. I also mimicked the look of NASA’s Hasselblad medium-format camera, replicating its sensor size and focal lengths for a film-like aesthetic.
Rendered in Cycles, the final images were enhanced with post-processing in Photoshop to capture the authentic beauty of the Moon’s surface.
